The Instructional Technology team offers a variety of training for teachers, administrators, staff, and even students. Below are just a selection of professional development opportunities available. Check back often as we frequently add more opportunities to grow your knowledge in effective technology integration and the latest trends in ed tech.

2017 DMAC Academy        DMAC-Solutions

Join us for 3-days of intensive training in all things DMAC! Each day will highlight new features in the software as well as provide you with tips and tricks for using it efficiently at your campus. DMAC Academy will provide an opportunity for hands-on experience and Q&A with the experts. Come one day or all three! Space is limited, register early!

Microsoft Innovative Educator One Day Academy Hosted by TCEA   

Join us for a Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Teacher Academy to learn more about Microsoft’s hottest tools and resources to empower your students to achieve more!  Bring your own Windows 10 device to this one-day professional learning experience to learn how to maximize your use of Windows and Office 365. You will get the opportunity to explore tools such as Office Online, OneNote Class Notebooks, Microsoft Forms, and Sway, including how to provide your students with learning experiences beyond the four walls of your classroom using Skype in the Classroom and the Microsoft Educator Community.

Computer Science Fundamentals with Code.org     code.org

The ESC, Region 2 is pleased to host Code.org for the new Computer Science (CS) Fundamentals workshop, covering the updated A-F courses. The CS Fundamentals curriculum is implemented within Code Studio, a free online education platform. This curriculum consists of multiple courses, each of which has about 20 lessons that may be implemented as one unit or over the course of a semester. By the end of each course, students create interactive games or stories that they can share with anyone.

Come see what's new in Google classroom! Participants will explore the functions of Google classroom from initial setup to course completion. Learn about integration with other G Suite tools and apps, too!
