The Education Service Center, Region 2, offers access to four TEKS aligned test banks:

  • DMAC TAG 
  • TEKSBank
  • Certica Navigate 
  • TX Bank One

 

These test banks offer rigorous questions to inform decisions about instruction. Please contact Jessica Guerra to purchase one or more of the listed test banks.

DMAC TAG

(TEKS Assessment Generator):

DMAC TAG is a web-based program that allows educators to create assessments in order to monitor student progress. TAG allows you to easily create local assessments using original TAG content aligned to state standards, TEA released items, TEKS Resources System items, or your own items. TAG empowers teachers and administrators to monitor student progress and make data-driven instructional decisions based on specific strengths and weaknesses.

TEKSBank 

TEKSBank is an online item bank developed by ESCs for Texas schools. It contains more than 50,000 items developed to the cognitive and procedural rigor of the TEKS and STAAR. New items are developed regularly to keep the bank current and fresh.

Certica Navigate

Navigate is a dynamic item bank developed and curated by Certica and formerly NWEA and ETS. Navigate offers over 68,000 high-quality standards-based items have been written and aligned to Texas-specific learning standards.

TX Bank One

TX Bank One is a Texas STAAR-Aligned assessment item bank that contains over 80,000 high quality, rigorous items. LEAs who subscribe to TX Bank One will be able to use the item bank to develop local assessments that accurately assess a student’s mastery of content at varying degrees of cognitive complexity, or DOK. Each item is coded to the revised TEKS and labeled with a level of cognitive complexity. Items are coded to Readiness or Supporting Standards and identified as Level 1–Low cognitive complexity, Level 2–Mid-level cognitive complexity, or Level 3–High cognitive complexity
